Spring has Sprung 🌷🌸🏡

Spring has Sprung! If you are a Seller it is your time to make your home shine. Remember your first date... you got all fixed up, fresh shaven, possibly new lipstick and a new outfit 👗? Your house may need a fresh coat of make up as well which could possibly mean a fresh coat of paint. Sherwin Williams says these are the colors of the year for 2022.

To be honest the darker ones aren't my favorite and haven't faired well in the past. However Alabaster has been around for a long time and is what we personally use in our flip houses for cabinets. I am also love love loving the Aleutian. It seems to follow a more Nautical theme. But notice all of the tans??? Could they really be coming back in style? Possibly so hold on to all of your 2015 decor because you may need it. 

Sunny to Snowstorm!?!?😱

Let's talk about how crazy the weather has been this past week. Last week was absolutely beautiful. Friday morning the birds 🐦were singing, sun was shining and finally it was looking like spring was here. All of a sudden that all changed! The wind started to blow and cold air swept right in bringing more snow than anyone ever wants to see in just a matter of hours. Then boom tomorrow Spring will pick right back up and it will be Sunny and 60 all week. This reminds me so much of what it feels like to be a Seller some days. You get a contract on your house and you think, "Wow that was easy, it's all done". Nope, we have just started the selling process. You start out, sun shining, 70 degrees not a cloud in the sky, everything looks good and them bam! The wind picks up and you have Home Inspections that require repairs, you may possibly find out you have termites and the worst is your closing gets delayed! Don't fret tho. Most of these are easy fixes but may possibly require some more time. If there is a home inspection repair needed, ask your Realtor to help refer you to some local repair people. If it's a lender delay just hold on, 90% of those are usually fixable but most of all.... love on your Realtor🤗. I know for a fact that if you have a good Realtor, they are working triple hard behind the scenes to try to make this as painless and less worrisome as possible for you. And never forget.. Spring really is coming. Your closing will be here before you know it and all of your hard work will have paid off.
